1. What does the Lord think of murmuring? Give 3 points from your reading. Why is murmuring contrary to the worship that is in contentedness?

2. Burroughs gives 6 “answers” to the question: What is the work of God when he brings a sinner home to Himself? List the 6 answers. Which one of the 6 meant the most to you and why? Be prepared to share this with your group.

3. What has Christ saved you from? Saved you to? Take the time to reflect upon your personal testimony of how the Lord granted you salvation through His son, Jesus Christ. Be prepared to share one aspect of your testimony of which you are especially grateful.

4 From your reading on pages 148-150, list some characteristics of what should be seen in a Christian.
