The Fruit of Her Hands, Chapter 3 - Respect
-
BIBLE STUDY TIME!!!! Take
the upcoming month to prayerfully read all of Psalm 119. Decide how to
break it down into bite-size pieces (10-25 verses a day) or whatever works
best for you. Your assignment is to find at least 10 verses that show the
connection between the blessing of the Lord and walking in the light of
obedience. Write out these 10 verses and be ready to share your favorite
ones with your small group.

Nancy Wilson says,
“Discontent blinds women to the many good qualities in their husbands. When
gratitude and respect are cultivated for their husbands, wives find more and
more to respect. Conversely, without repentance and obedience, they see
less and less to respect. Thankfulness drives away discontent, and respect
and honor build the husband up. Obedience is the great opener of eyes.”
With this in mind, list 10 qualities in your husband that you are thankful
for. If you are unmarried, list the qualities in your father or another
authority figure in your life that you are thankful for. Take the time to
share this list with him either in a letter form or through conversation.
Be ready to share with your group, one quality you are thankful for and how
you shared it with the person.
